i find it so stressful to do all the diet eating, but i guess i have to get over that to get fitter! Does p90x come with a guide about when to eat meals?

Ive been on the sea food diet and sofa 360 workout , so far i can change chanels on my Tv with more speed and power. ive now worked my way up to 10 reclines a day , im on my way!!

@sixfouimpala You can do muscle toning workouts that are slower and require less explosive movements. For example, you can tone your deltoids but just pushing both ends of a dumbbell inward and moving your arms forward, downward, upward – at different angles.

ive been doing p90x for 5 weeks now starting to see results but i dont want to get buff because im in boxing can u still do this and not get to buff ??

@h00drat1 p90x is for loosing fat and gaining muscle, if u just want to loose weight and look hot n thin then i sujest you g ofor insanity ofcorse both will give you muscle, but p90x is more on muscle concentrated than cardio

@xxxDAPROBLEMxxx Yes, muscle looks “toned” when you become more lean. That’s not a misconception, just a reality. Tone more refers to the stamina of the muscle, it’s ability to sustain longer exercises vs. short bursts of strength.

@Nesninja85 One of the classic misconceptions of the exercise industry. You can lose fat or build muscle. You can’t “tone” your muscles. You can lose fat, that will make your muscles look more “toned”.

People who don’t know that fat is one thing and muscle is another, have they never seen meat? lol Red meat is muscle fiber from the animal, fat is white/yellowish stuff. This has nothing to do with that. eh?!

@h00drat1 The weight that the men are using is what is causing them to become bulky. If you would like to slim down, lengthen and tone the muscle you have and not make them bigger, simply use a lighter dumbbell. One thing to remember doing more reps with a lower weight will yield lean tone muscle, where as fewer reps with higher weight is for building the muscle. You could even use cans of soup from your cupboard for a light weight, but resist is vital to the exercise.

@comedyguy911 Well, if they want to, nobody is stopping them. Just saying, what is recommended – not only by me, but also but a lot of other people. I’m not a medic, but if the they claim overweight people a higher chance of injuries, I would never recommend somebody such a programme….

@leclaudine bullshit, overweight people can still do this, they have to do week one twice and have to take it easier. Week one needs to be strict deit control and combined with p90x a lot of push ups and sit ups, after that repeat week one again and then go on to week two.

No. Muscle atrophies (breaks down and is used as energy in a similar way that fat is used as energy). However muscle cannot turn into fat the same way your computer can’t turn into a monkey.
